Hendricks County Communications Center
Every Second, Every Day, We Are Here For You

CALEA 2013

Hendricks County Communications Center received its first accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) in 2009.

The Hendricks County Communication Center is one of only two communications centers in the State of Indiana that are accredited through CALEA.

Benefits to our community include but are not limited to the following:

  • Operations are compared against national standards and best practices.

  • Identify and remedy any shortcommings to include holding the center responsible and accountable for quality service.

  • Improvement of management and performance with written policy and procedures.

  • Recognize achievement and improve quality assurance.

A viewable document is available that explains an overview of the accreditation process. A video is also available here that explains more about what CALEA is all about.
